My felting journey began with hats. I wanted to make a comical, colorful hat for my comedy act character.
An assortment of hats in many different colors and styles.
Experimenting with baby hats.....
After hats, I started on shawls and wraps. This is a one-piece wet felted shawl.
Then I began felting with fine merino wool and fabrics, incorporating the fabrics into the wet felting process.
A circular cape was an inspiration!
Bags...I am now doing backpack bags as well.
Flowers...These can be displayed in a bouquet arrangement, or an individual flower can be
converted into a pin for a hat or coat lapel.
Puppets were created at the request of my son. I now do ducks, zebras, and mythical creatures.
Scarf made with wet felting of fine merino wool and fabrics.
This jacket was primarily done with wet felting of merino wool with a fabric panel wet felted in the front. It has a bit of a Japanese influence.
This face came out in one of my creations, and I have been using it in other wearable art creations.
I like to do outfits, like this hat and vest combo.
My skirt creations came from a request from my cousin.
Another hat and jumper combination, using a variant of the face.
